Miami Beach Edition X The Staycationers
Take me away…on a staycay.
When Taste The Style’s (now known as The Chill Times) travel editorial series formerly known as THE STAYCATIONERS comes a-knocking, you say HELL YES. And that’s exactly what I did as I met up with Céline Bossart and Christina Zayas for this fabulous day at The Miami Beach EDITION. Scroll through as I take you on a tour, captured through the lens of the talented Yesi (aka Simply Lively).
First thing’s first, a little bubbly courtesy of Perrier-Jouët to get the festivities started before the lovely ladies of 1821salon came through to tame these humidity-stricken tresses with none other than Bumble and Bumble goodies (Hairdresser’s Invisible Oil is my fave). We quickly slipped into the most flattering swimsuits and cozy coverups by Cosabella. Then it was on to the pool…
After a few bubbly-induced giggles and cabana-lounging we ventured around the lushly landscaped pools and made our way to The Sandbox. Yep – the most perfect secluded tropical nook complete with hammocks and daybeds. The EDITION knows how to set the stage for ultimate relaxation. No mid-day snoozing though! Because it was on to THE MOST DELICIOUS dinner and cocktails at Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten’s Matador Room, but not before freshening up and changing into this head-turning white hot Simonett (fka Style Mafia) number ❤️
After our proper chow-down at Matador Room, it was time to get-down…
…to the basement. Basement Miami, that is. What can I say other than this place is a sensory DELIGHT. Bar, club, bowling alley and ice-skating (yes, you read right, ice-skating). This is a must-go. Our friend Alexandra of Spur of the Moments joined us to complete our ultimate girl squad.
Wouldn’t be a staycation without a little jumping-on-the-bed action though, and that included some candy that may or may not have been tossed in the air…sweet ending to the sweetest staycay with THE STAYCATIONERS.
