Holiday season is in full effect, and here’s one fun fact about me: I am not a holiday person. I get a bit gloomy around this time of year, and one of my favorite characters of all time is The Grinch. I do holiday shopping last minute because it leaves my head spinning in circles, and I never really think about a “White Christmas” because I’m from Puerto Rico. But it’s not all doom and gloom (yes, I do have a heart in here somewhere ha)… In addition to greatly appreciating the holiday sales (like this Reformation outfit) I remind myself to reflect on the year, identify the highs and lows, appreciate everything I take for granted…I also think about my approaching birthday (on New Year’s Day, both a blessing and a curse) – which admittedly makes me anxious, but also hopeful.
