The Modern Minimalist…anything but basic.
I am on this modern minimalist streak as of late, and am very drawn to simple design elements and elevated basics, so when I threw on this shapeless t-shirt dress, I instinctively went with interestingly-shaped accessories and Teva flatforms (which, trust me, i know aren’t for everyone 😊). To be honest, I used to recoil at the sight of Tevas, but the styling gods have helped me see these things sandals for what they really are: little strappy pillows with a sporty/fashion-forward appeal. They’re SO comfortable; I gotta know how to rock these somehow, right? RIGHT 😅?! But I digress… I see this modern minimalist approach to fashion as understated, stripped down and effortlessly cool.
