STUTTERHEIM RAINCOAT

Who loves a good rainy day? This girl right here. Rainy days are perfect for catching up on shows. Rainy days also get the creative juices flowing, and put me in this super productive mood where I rid myself of any guilt for spending the whole day indoors working on the computer. <Does anyone else relate to that feeling?> Another interesting thing I’ve noticed about rainy days in a bustling city is that it relaxes me to walk in stormy weather if I’m dressed and ready for the occasion, which usually involves a sturdy, flip-proof umbrella and Hunter rain boots. It’s just comforting to feel protected while braving the elements. But, oddly enough, I’ve never owned a rain coat. Enter the generous folks from Swedish rainwear brand, Stutterheim, whose motto is “Swedish Melancholy At Its Driest.” They had me at ‘Swedish’ (and probably ‘Melancholy,’ cuz I’m moody af). Swedish brands usually always get it right though…construction, aesthetics, form and function. And this coat is so awesome, it makes me wish it rained more in Miami. Scroll down for full outfit credits and to see more moody pics of my Downtown evening stroll.
