Dark and stormy best describes this series of portraits shot by Yesi, for two reasons. One: I come across dark and broody. Two: I keep hearing, “you look like Halle Berry’s ‘Storm’ character in X-Men.” ha.

On to my sartorial musings…I’ve always been into contrasting aesthetics, like this flowy feminine dress with boyish brogues. But this STATEMENT NECKLACE THOUGH! I found this Dylan Lex lookalike at Aldo, sans the hefty price tag. The simplicity of the overall outfit served as the perfect canvas for this statement piece. Although I’ve been on a Berlin-esque minimalistic x athleisure vibe lately, I always enjoy making a statement and turning heads (I mean, look at this hair for God’s sake lol).
